Update for: WebGL (Windows was still very buggy and thus delayed for after the game jam concluded)

[Fixes]

  • Fixed a softlock in level 5 caused by killing the first guard without killing the second
  • Fixed a softlock in level 7 caused by killing the first guard without killing the second
  • Fixed a bug where gravity just did not exist for any playable characters
  • Fixed a softlock in level 9 caused by falling into the pit
  • Fixed a bug where the player would not fall into the pit in level 9
  • Scaled down the tables in Level 9 to an appropriate size
  • Look speed now uses time.deltaTime making it smoother over lag spikes

[Additions]

  • Added a silhouette of all guards in the scene
  • Added a door between the control room and containment room in level 8
  • Added a grate between the passage behind the second guard in level 9
  • Added the game’s title to the credits (I do not know why I didn’t put it there to begin with)

[Removals]

  • Removed time slowing down when the player is in view or chased
  • Removed a debug guard that was accidentally left in the beginning of level 8

[Plans for the future]

  • To add decorative items such as furniture in the levels
  • To add a Level Select
  • Performance Improvements
  • Fix a softlock caused by killing the guard in level 0
  • Add more levels
  • Add more mechanics (such as more creatures, realities and obstacles)
  • Make the player detection a little better (currently a guard has a chance of seeing the player through a wall)
